Accessibility Statement
PharmD Live is committed to providing a website experience that is accessible and usable for as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities.
1. Accessibility Commitment and Conformance Target
PharmD Live aims to design, develop, and maintain its website using recognized accessibility principles. Our current accessibility target is to support conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably practicable.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Website content, technology, third-party services, and user needs change over time, so the website is reviewed and improved as part of continuing quality-assurance and maintenance work.
2. Measures Used to Support Accessibility
Measures incorporated into the website and ongoing remediation process may include:
- Meaningful page titles, headings, and content structure.
- Alternative text for informative images where appropriate.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and interactive controls where practicable.
- Readable text sizing, spacing, and color contrast.
- Clear and descriptive link and button labels.
- Accessible names and labels for form controls.
- Responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Reduced-motion support for animations where technically supported.
- Accessibility checks during website QA, content updates, and remediation.
- Review of downloadable documents and media as those materials are updated.
3. Keyboard Navigation
PharmD Live seeks to make primary website navigation, links, forms, and interactive elements usable by keyboard. Users should generally be able to move through interactive elements using standard keyboard controls such as the Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and Space keys.
If a control cannot be reached or operated by keyboard, users are encouraged to report the specific page and control so that it can be reviewed.
4. Images, Media, and Visual Content
Informative images should include meaningful alternative text where appropriate. Decorative images may be configured so assistive technologies can ignore them. Video, audio, charts, and other complex media may require additional accessible alternatives depending on the content and purpose.
5. Forms and Interactive Features
Website forms should provide clear labels, instructions, validation messages, and accessible names for controls where practicable. PharmD Live also seeks to maintain appropriate focus behavior and understandable error feedback.
If a form cannot be completed using assistive technology, users may contact PharmD Live for assistance or an alternative method.
6. Color, Contrast, Text, and Responsive Design
PharmD Live aims to maintain sufficient color contrast, readable typography, scalable layouts, and responsive behavior across commonly used screen sizes. Content should remain understandable without relying only on color to communicate meaning.
7. Third-Party Content and Services
Some website functions may rely on third-party platforms, embedded services, documents, videos, scheduling tools, or other content that PharmD Live does not fully control. We encourage third-party providers to support accessible experiences, but some accessibility limitations may depend on those external services.
This may include consultation-scheduling functionality provided through Calendly or another approved provider.
8. Known Limitations and Remediation Process
Some older pages, legacy content, third-party integrations, downloadable documents, or media may not yet provide the same level of accessibility as newer content.
When an accessibility issue is identified, PharmD Live may evaluate the impact, frequency of use, technical requirements, and available alternative methods, then prioritize remediation based on the severity of the barrier and practical implementation considerations.
9. Requesting Assistance or an Alternative Format
If you have difficulty accessing information on the PharmD Live website, you may request assistance or an alternative way to receive the information. Please identify the page, document, or feature involved and describe the accessibility issue you experienced.
10. Accessibility Feedback
When reporting an accessibility concern, it is helpful to provide:
- The website address (URL) or page where the issue occurred.
- A brief description of the problem.
- The browser, device, or assistive technology being used, if you are comfortable providing that information.
- Your preferred method for receiving a response.
11. Ongoing Testing and Review
PharmD Live may periodically review the website using a combination of automated checks, manual testing, content review, and user feedback. Automated testing alone cannot identify every accessibility barrier, so manual verification and user feedback remain important parts of the process.
12. Contact
For accessibility questions, requests for assistance, or feedback about an accessibility barrier, contact PharmD Live using the contact information provided on the website.
13. Statement Updates
This Accessibility Statement may be updated as the website, accessibility standards, technologies, and PharmD Live practices evolve.
